About this project
For this Hill Country home we leaned all the way into color — floor-to-ceiling built-ins lacquered a deep peacock blue that turns an ordinary study into the heart of the house.
Brass sconces, a spotted upholstered nook and a rolling library ladder keep the room as functional as it is dramatic, while pops of coral and green stop the blue from ever feeling serious.
It is our idea of living brightly: rich, layered and full of personality, but genuinely built for everyday family life.
